Unlike a conventional commercial corridor, Downtown Pickerington is defined by its intimate scale and residential-to-commercial charm. Many businesses are located in converted historic homes and buildings, giving the District a distinct sense of place.
Parking
Free parking is available in Downtown, including on-street spaces and public lots. Visitors can enjoy a compact district that is easy to explore and close to local destinations, schools, neighborhoods, and community gathering places.
Did you know? Parking a few blocks downtown and walking to your destination is usually the same distance as walking from the far end of a massive big box store parking lot to the store's front entrance.
A Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA)
The Elevate District is a DORA area. Participating establishments can sell beer, wine or liquor in specially marked DORA cups allowing participants ages 21 and over to explore and enjoy our downtown with a drink. Drink responsibly and have fun!
WHEN: Daily from Noon – 10:00 p.m.
WHERE: The DORA encompasses the entire Olde Village including Columbus Street, Church Street and Center Street . See map below for further detail.
